Its $44/mo, but Verizon also deducts $5/mo from the total phone bill because I signed up for the Fios service.

LT - the Verizon tech used IE for the speed test, I just grabbed screen caps. :P

Nope. The guy must have installed hundreds of dollars worth of Verizon equipment on the house... I guess they're planning to recoup it in service costs and they're hoping I'll get a Verizon TV subscription when they offer it this fall.

There's the ONT box (which I guess stands for Optical Network Terminal?), a cable breakout box, and a battery backup for the ONT. I'll post some pics if anyone is really interested.
