It should be able to be welded. Worst comes to worst, they can cut that piece of tubing completely out and weld in a new one.

The fact that this lasted me 5 yrs is amazing.
Driving in the track twice a yr without anything breaking is pretty darn good.

the cool part is i only have about 35k original miles on the VR6 engine.
So the car is basically still new.
