Yea, says you need an FCC license for them... but when I bought mine it was only if you used certian channels. Other channels you didn't need a license for.

I used the other channels anyway and didn't have any problems.

i used to sell two-way radios when i worked for best buy. you dont need an fcc license, they just have to say that to cover their asses.

nextel sucks. i had it for a week, hated it, switched services. now got a palm treo. with t-mobil.

Actually, Dicks has a set on sale for $50 and they have a $15 mail in rebate, thus making them $35.

But these are the 7 mile range ones :rick:
