Default Ticket for Excessive Tire Noise...

The other day I got a ticket for pretty much spinning my tires in my schools parking lot. Stupid idea, but I never do it, so i guess it's just the luck of the draw. Anyway, he never 'saw' me do it, but he saw the smoke from the parking lot. I pull out of the lot and take a left, and about 200ft down I see a cop heading toward me... so I pull into the next parking lot, start walking back to the dorms and get stopped by the cop and gives me a $50 ticket for Excessive Tire Noise... now I know he didn't hear it or see it.

You probably know my question, think I can get it dropped? I was just gonna pay the ticket cause it's only $50, but my buddy said the cop has no proof...

Also, this is like a parking ticket, correct? Not going on the record?

If he admitted that he only saw smoke and didn't physically see you in your car spinning your tires, then you might be able to get it dropped or reduced :dunno:

Maybe he was sitting in another parking lot or something?

If you did it, just pay for it. Its not that expensive.

That's what I'm going to end up doing if I find out it doesn't go on my record since it's only $50.

The way the other parking lots are, and where I was, he couldn't see me.

Heres the ticket, if anyone can tell by looking at it. It's a civil violation...

I dont feel like going to court over $50, if it goes on my record, i'll bring it to court.
