Well we knew why it was happening...and it was a couple of HS kids, so they didnt really understand that what they were doing was a misdemeanor felony charge and if they were over 18 they wouldve landed their asses in jail.

At the old apartment coplex there would be foot prints along a row of parked cars, a dew with some weight dents in them every few nights.

It just stopped

Kabooki, I'm sorry to hear...that's just messed up. I had some idiot slam their fist or something on my 04's hood last week, leaving 2 dents. Fortunately they popped out and you have to look closely to see anything now, but it's still the point. A month ago my wife's '96 Accord had 1 hubcap stolen. Why? :dunno: It had been repainted and less than perfect quality, so I don't know why anybody would want it.

Years ago, we had some little vandals hitting cars in our neighborhood once. They were doing something every night, so it wasn't too hard to predict when they'd strike next. The previous night they had dumped dirty motor oil on my cars, so I set up a video camera in my window late the next night and went to bed. The following day, sure enough there they were, caught on tape the same night my neighbor's car got keyed badly. I made a call to the p.d. and they came out and paid a visit to the respective houses of the kids on tape. We never had ANY trouble from them after that. They were underage so they pretty much got off, but it scared the crap out of them. One of the parents made their kid come over and apologize to me and offer to pay to have my car washed. It was the other kid who had instigated all the vandalism, but of course we never got any apology from his family. Bottom line is the stupid parents were letting their 10-12 y.o. kids run the streets at 1:00 a.m. Fortunately they've moved away now...

yea, there were these series of random acts of vandalism except they were only targetting SUv's and vans...they shot out the window of the neighbor's van. i was about to goto work i think or somewhere with my dad and i saw someone had busted her window and i went to go tell her.

couple days after, some hispanics were found vandalizing the trucks and were arrested.
