My buddy has that motor in his 2.5RS. He's taking it out in a month to put in a USDM STi motor. :eek4:

i have a feeling this is goign to start a ej20 vs ej257 debate

i honestly think both engines are sick, but find that the ej257 has more torque potential, and therefore my vote goes for it regardless....

There's also a crapload more you can do to the EJ257.

I also think the ej257 is a better motor than the ej205/7 but when I slap my 2.5RS heads onto the ej20t block, which flow tremendously better than the early ej20 heads it should be pretty sick. Also an ej257 is totally out of my price range where as this one nestles in quite nicely.

Give you an idea, my buddy with I/E, underdrive pulleys and Link ECU ran a 13.3 with the swap in his. His is a 2000 2.5RS 4-door.
