Default narrowed down my search for a tv tuner box for my monitor

looked up the viewsonic VB50HRTV and N4...
the reviews on the viewsonic weren't the best..complaints about the remote being too small

thought about vid cards...
but im gonna go with an external box

thinking about the Kworld TV1531R from newegg here $66.99

or maybe a refurbished one here $42

any advice? im leanin towards the refurb.

like i said before in the other thread, for lcd's DVI is nessity, i didnt think so until i tried DVI on mine... it is amazing the difference it makes. i was told becuase there was little to no distortion it makes viewing on a LCD better (cause the pixels always line up correctly) or suttin like that......

:edit: it's also the reason why i have no need for cleartype on my computer

wtf are you blabbing about now?

the tv signal is no where the quality/resolution of a video card. it doesn't make a difference so stop posting this shit.

It's nice to be able to connect say a vcr/dvd player, ps2, or xbox and just switch between the different boxes instead of plugging this in or that.

those must have been some great reviews....at least there were no major complaints about the functionality of the device. i'd say go with the viewsonic.
