I think the word "ironic" is the most improperly and over used word in the english language.

I keep thinking about all the stuff that I forgot to put in my paper, but i already handed it in :wtc:

 

I think I need to quit procrastinating and start writing my paper...but its saturday...sooooooo :fawk: all that noise.

ironic is not really used in the wrong way, it just people think they are saying somthing other than what they are. what people are trying to express in most cases is bad luck, rather than the idea that the outcome was queer, or different than expected.

 

and thus improperly used.
