No worries, in about 2 weeks I'll be in Kuwait on my 3rd deployment for another 6-8 months.

Holy sh!t Pete. How long have you been home? It doesn't seem like it's been that long.

Do you know what fob or camp your gonna be at? I mean I doubt it'll be here.... but you never know.

I've been home since September. It doesn't seem like very long, but when I reflect on everything that's happened since than, it is. Fortunately, I will be attaching to a higer HQ like Central Command. They are located at Camp Doha. That base is nice, I've been there before. I think they even have a KFC there. It's not going to be like my last deployment, no mortar rounds or machine gun fire or anything crazy. Plus it's an opportunity to get some quick cash for me to buy an R6 when I come back

Now you're talkin. (R6) 0-60 in like 3 or 4.

Yeah good old Doha. I've been there a few times. One of my worst experiences ever was there at the wash-rack. I spent 48 hours there after OIF1... in July. I mean we literally slept right there on the rack. And that water is definetely not clean.
But that's cool to work for Centcom. I work for 3ID HQ in the plans section so the mortars are at least a couple of miles away.
I get to go the the Baghdad University once in a while with our IO guys so that's entertaining. I'm always a driver because for some reason a lot of guys are afraid to try to get a big truck in a space meant for a compact. Go figure.

haha, I drove huge trucks all the time (and I normally drive a crx :reechy: ). I figured, they're not mine and the sooner we break it, the sooner we get a new one.

Edit: My apologies for the hijacking of thread 185046 :happysad:
