Found this guy circling over a local man made pond, for some reason all the smaller birds went under cover :chuckles:

Yeah I am living on that lens right now. I do wish I had used full bracket mode though because I took 20+ shots of him and this was the only one I could really save

I was obsessed with Ospery in like 4th grade cause I saw one swoop down into a river and snag a big ass fish.

I thought it was a rare sighting so I wrote book reports and projects on that damn bird for months!

Personally I've seen those birds in person before. They are quite large.... but I get no sence of how big or small that bird is from the picture. :dunno:
