duct tape = electrical tape?
i'm out of electrical tape and i don't feel like driving to Wal-mart. Can I use duct tape to wrap my soldered connections?

some types of duct tape are conductive.... usually the shiney ones

get the right tape. there is this rubberized ones, get those.

duct tape /= electrical tape...as said before, there are certain duct tapes that have a very fine wire inside instead of the poly threads.

Duct tape has fabric in it. If the wires heat up enough, they could set the tape on fire. Your choice.
