Default Comcast down...AGAIN!!!!!!!

Second time in two days...third time in two weeks.

Using static DNS servers from Verizon, this is what Comcast is reporting:

"National

General Outage

(Connection to the Internet is currently unavailable. Our technicians are aware of the situation and are working to resolve the issue. This outage was logged at : 4/13/2005 6:47:00 PM EDT.)"

Too bad we don't have a smiley for  , which Comcast would own just about now.

Doesn't matter, you can force the DNS servers and still obtain everything else automatically. Goto control panel/network connections/properities on your LAN connection. Properties on tcp/ip, then set the bullet to use the following DNS servers. Voila =)

The 4.1.1.1 I is no good.

My Comcast internet gets hooked up Monday. Hopefully it'll be working smoothly.
