Hello boys and girls I`m otmsp (new here).Just needed to know the difference between a b16a2 and a d16z6 bottom end.I understand one shoc and the other is dohc but I need to what changes in the bottom end.Is the compretiothe same?.Are the rods and pistons stronger in the b16a2? I`d appreciate if anyone could help out on this? thanx otmsp..

 

Naw it's all different. The D's rod and pistons might be as strong as the B's but they probably don't even look alike.

I'm no mechanic so I'm not gonna be like. SEARCH DAMN YOU!!! YOU ARE GOING TO BRING THE WHOLE DAMN SITE DOWN BY ASKING QUESTIONS THAT HAVE ALREADY BEEN ANSWERED!!!!

everything is f*cking different... did you need someone to literally type that out for you?? was "honda and 4cyl are the only things that are the same" not clear enough???? the crank is different. the bore is different. the pistons are different. the rods are different. the entire f*cking block itself is different. physically and structurally. holy shit kid. even stupidstreet would tell you that in their amazing tech section.
