h: I don't see much in the way of crumple zones.
For instance: If you get rear-ended at 25mph, will it write off the entire frame?
I think I'd add additional bracing and some sort of crushable core to mitigate the damage.

as it is a kit car, you are probably correct. one crash is probably all you'll get.

Who knows, I mind end up with it.Btw, I contact the insurance agent, they said they do not cover the "kit car" but instead they can put me on an "agree value policy" with restrictions and stuffs. It's definitely NOT a daily. As for DMV, they said that I can register the car if it pass the inspection and will have a VIN. They suggest that I go to local DMV office and get a book about it. My lawyer also said he'd get back with info about registration.
As of now, I'm only half serious about it. But it looks like it's going to be a fun project.

Come on now, don't be shy.
Let us know what you really think about the car.

If you are going to build/buy a kit car, i would just go with the XTR 2. 1300cc Hayabusa engine, tons of power, gets around the track faster than a Zhonda, street legal....

Plus, I've already have an H22 swap that's being bulletproof as we speak, so why should I waste it?
