I already did that last week. I think his name is Dave. My big problem is he sits facing away from the opening of his office. I didn't know if tappig on his shoulder would be appropriate and you sure as heck can't knock on the door since he wouldn't hear it. It's a weird situation. Dude, he knows he's deaf. I doubt he'll be offended if you tap him on the shoulder. Even if you just walk up to his desk, lean over and hang up the phone, then introduce yourself, it'll be fine.
