Default air purifier anyone?

I"m thinking of getting an air purifier. Anyone have any suggestions? Looking at the ionic breeze, anyone have it? imputs? I dont have any allergies or anything, but with my current condition i get short of breath and this weekend i couldnt sleep becasue of it, though that was probably due to the poor air quality in the room i was in and 3 other poeople in there but yea. I think a good air purifier will do me good. ANy other suggestions? i know they are pricy so i'm just lookin around now.

Brookestone carries some good ones, try there, if you cacs have them in that area.

Or stick a small turbo in your mouth to increase air flow. h:

Well if you're having a hard time breathing I'd get nothing but the best.

If you want to save money you can go with the Ionic Pro ( www.ionicpro.com ) . It performs exactly the same as the Ionic Breeze but costs $150. They sell them here at FRY's , but I saw an add on T.V. today which incledes 1 for your car and a small pocket sized one for $150.

Yeah I was gonna say, apparently those ionic ones don't do anything particularly useful. janVI posted the link. What I think gives it away is that Sharper Image's defense is that "their customers are satisfied with the product," not that they have any testing to prove Consumer Reports wrong.

I've heard where the Oreck one is good. http://vacuum-cleaners-online.com/or...r-purifier.php
It's got a permanent filter which is cleanable and reusable. It also moves the air throughout the room more so than other brands, therefore trapping more dust and contaminants. I saw the advertisement for it on t.v. If i were to get one, this would be the one i would get. Try it out and tell me how you like it. I think it's got one of those deals where you can send it back if not satisfied, but not sure. I remember the t.v deal had that, but not sure about this place posted above.
