Yeah when I saw the shot in my mind I saw the same thing, something real but it looks fake at the same time.

I love how you make the most obscure and really insignificant things look so neat in a picture, John. Very inspirational with your work. I wish I had that talent. I've thought of taking classes for it cause it's really intriguing to me. Great work. :goodjob:

Honestly don't take classes.

I haven't taken any photography classes at all. I did take some classes to learn developing and enlarging at a local college when I was in 3rd and 4th grade but they taught me nothing about actual photography.

You can teach yourself the functions of a camera by reading and practicing what you read. The rest is up to being able to see and compose an image and no one can honestly teach you that without heavily influencing your work either good or bad.

I just need to learn how to use my camera and just get out then. I think I need to invest in a peg leg or tripod or something. My hands are not the steadiest things ever. I think it's genetic

Both monopod and tripod are excellent investments and will pay for themselves quickly.

I am going to be doing one month of shooting strictly with a tripod (except for rockcrawl work) just to get used to it and learn to use it more effectivley. After that I may do one month with the monopod aswell for the same reasons.
