those shots i wouldnt consider majorly artistic.. but lets say if you put the camera so you can observe somthing not moving and everything else moves aroudn it (i got this image of a mercedes hood ornament in my head) with that in the background it may be considered more artistic than just a shot of lights in motion

yeah I'm don't consider my pics to be great either and I really do it for my own enjoyment but I just don't see the art in those types of pics. they are so simple to do.
WiLL actually took those on the way back from the location we were taking pics at. No thought whatsoever, set the shutter to 30seconds and just held the camera up as I drove back.
