what program can i use (and to download for free hopefully) to convert WMA files to MP3 format?

you can also do it using winamp with MS MP3 Pack for XP and this mp3 out plugin

i must disagree, i still ike using DMC (dbPoweramp) just gotta find version 10 cause 11 only has LAME support for 30 days....

i use itunes.

it wont convert protected WMAs, though. you'd have to burn them as a music cd and then rip them as an audio cd.

I use something called MP3 WAV converter. Works both ways. Have to crack it though. www.serialcodes.net

I use "Quintessential Player" to convert my CDs, and play MP3s. No trial, no nag screens, and free. It also consumes less resources than Media Player, so I can keep it running while I work.
