Default don't you hate it when..

you have your mind set on something and your hopes all up then.....................

it gets shot down.

My apt lease is up in June and I got a call yesterday from my bro saying that his neighbor is moving out and the apt would be available in 60 days. We're talking veryyyy nice area and ritzy part of town minutes from local university, restaraunts, and downtown Norfolk. It's a 2BR on the 3rd floor of this building, hardwood floors, large windows, balcony etc. So I call the guy and talk for about 5min and even setup an appointment for tomorrow. Then it hits me, "oh one more thing....do you accept pets?" ...................................."No. Only 1 cat allowed but no dogs."

:jlammy:

Oh well..I'm still saving up for a house and will just continue my lease month by month so I can move out da hood. h:

Yea my English Bulldog and I wouldn't give him up for anything. I'm just going to continue to look for a house with a garage. It's hard to find anything decent around here for under $300k, and I don't want my first house being that much.

why wouldnt they allow dogs but they would allow a cat? cats rip up furniture. i doubt your bulldog would have any interest in ripping up something if hes properly trained.

Thats common for apartments to accept cats but not dogs :dunno:
Sometimes they allow only "small pets"

Yea I told him that. I was like "It's an English Bulldog. They are probaly more lazy and less active than a cat." but he stood by the No Dog policy.

True dat. My existing apartment only allows dogs 25lbs and under. Well..................................he WAS 24lbs when I got him. He stays very short anyway, I doubt they'll say anything. Besides, I have yet to pay the pet deposit. h:

Nah he seemed like a really nice guy and was trying to find me something else in that area but I knew he wouldn't. Prices normally go for around $1000/month for a 1-2BR. This one was a steal!
