it was 2.37 for the cheap stuff out by the airport the other day. I forgot what I paid for 91 yesterday... something like 2.40 I think.

yup... and that is regular! I hate these high prices... On top of that alot of the financial institution here believe that the price of a barrel will be over 100$ by 2010

Giant Eagle (a grocery store chain on the east coast) has put in these gas station pumps (called Get Go) in the parking lot. and everytime u shop for groceries and use your Giant Eagle card (free card that gets you discounts) you accumlate points towards gas. The other day i had 53 cents off a gallon...so i paid like $1.60 a gallon

The thing is, life as we know it for the most part depends on motorized vehicles of some sort. So we can bitch and moan all we want about how these gas prices suck, but then we still drive to work, or the grocery store, or to get more gas, or whatever. The thing is, people think this shit is temporary. Last year when gas hit 2 bucks everyone was like, 'oh well it'll go back down,' but now it's hitting 3 bucks in some places. Welp, allow me the first to be a big fat pessimist and say that gas ain't gonna be cheaper any time in the near future. Oh well, at least my car's relatively fuel efficient.

I agree not to mention oil is to precious to burn... think of all the other industries that rely oil based products.

Lowest gas price in Toronto (reg87): 81.5¢/litre
Highest gas price in Toronto (reg87): 92.9¢/litre

add 5¢/l for 89
add 10¢/l for 91-94

Dayum, wish I lived in Caracas, Venezuela gas is 12¢/gallon there!
