Back when I was taking classes in downtown SF, I had similar run-in with the DPT... except they towed my GTi. :madfawk: Not only did I have to walk 16 blocks to the tow yard, I had to pay $210 to get my car out of "impound" -- and the fvckers didn't even have the car off of the tow truck yet.

Metermaids are complete and utter bastards. :rant:

I've had a few run-ins with metermaids, but I find rent-a-cops and towtruck companies to be far more problematic.
