sux!! i have wireless internet at home, but it keeps disconnecting like every 5 minutes... is there any program i can use to keep it connected??

well, it's free wireless internet provided by my apt.... i dun think i can touch the router... is there anything i can do on my PC or wireless modem??

talk to your landlord and find out if anyone else has been having problems

also, if you are using a card that comes with its own software (linksys, dlink or the likes) make sure you either disable the software or turn off the wireless zero config in services because the two can conflict with each other

disable and enable your connection....i get this prob all the time when im using either of my 5 neighbors wireless:rick:....yeah and if you have a laptop move closer to where the router is or just move a around to a good signal if it is week to begin with

If you're using a brand name wireless card, be sure to install the proper software that came with the part.

The built in MS wireless utility blows.

I never have any problems with wireless zero on either of my laptops...

I had a problem and called the people i bought the card from and installed the software they had. Made it easier to find a location for a better signal.
