So its kind of a dead zone huh?
Is the area actually still alive or is it in decline (one can hope for some extra reasons to shoot).

I wouldn't say in decline so much as it just hasn't been developed yet.

Right now in MD all the places which have already been established as suburbs are the ones which are seeing the most development, sort of filling in the empty spaces and saturating the filled up ones to make a more contiguous metroplex. This is happening most in the NW suburbs of DC and also the NW suburbs of Bmore, although I pay less attention to Bmore since I'm from the DC area.

that part of MD pretty much suchs. annapolis and baltimore are good places for photography. inner harbor, fells point, lots of cool stuff.

odenton, not so much.

I remember driving from PA to VA and MD would take about 2 hours or less... and that's my mom driving.

from where to where? i can get from Vienna to easton in 3 1/2, driving fast (except on this one part of fifteen that is whored by cops)

are you guys forgetting the shape of the state of maryland? theres probably a part of western md thats no more than 20 miles from the north to south border. on the other hand, going from northern harford county down to OCMD is more like 200 miles.
