Default Shots fired...

...at the gun range. went shooting for the first time. a .22, 9mm, .357, and a sig .45. the .357 felt very comfortable. the .45 was bit strong. the 9mm was ok. the .22 was light. looking to pick this up as a hobby. any recommendations/suggestions for an amateur enthusiast?

Yesterday we put a pistol-grip on the 12 guage and it was actually much easier to fire than the shoulder stock... not nearly as painful. Also shot the .40 S&W and my buddie's SKS. It was my first time with an assault rifle... very fun

Depends on what you like. I generally shoot better with a .45 than with a 9mm. I would continue to go to the range and try out various guns until you find the type(s) you like the best.
