Default ****ed up lil' sunfire

A friend of mine has a sunfire she picked up in 02, and dispite the fact that i think the cars are a waste of metal (no im not a domestic hater... but sunfires blow) but i am going to try to help her anyways. so heres whats up

she had Head gasget replaced (im not sure why, she was at dealership and they told her it was cracked so they repaced head gasket and water pump) along with new belts. now she has her car back and she was complaing of a high-pitch wine when she starts the car and it gets louder as accel. is pressed, so i go start the car to listen to it and i hit gas and i notice it craps out at 4g's... i was like :WTF: so i hit the gas again and the engine stumbles and will not pass 4,000 and it F*UCKING SHAKES i mean it feels like when you pop the clutch while a cars in gear and it stalls, so i get out look at exhaust and there is a puddle under it. just wondering if anyone had any ideas, im gonna look at it tommrow when its light out and i have time and tools.

a puddle under the exhaust?...well water condensates in the exhaust and causes it to leak out the back

but the puddle shoots out like a clog, and the engine CANNOT make it over 4k and when it hits 4,000 thats when shit starts shooting out the exhaust
but it could be alt. considering in the dark thats where the noise seemed to be originating

Ummm, are you doing this while the car is in park? I've had two Sunfires (don't ask) and driven a rental Z24 or whatever the equivelant the Cavalier has. All 3 would not rev to redline while in park, but would while driving.

I would have to say the timing belt idler is bad or the water pump, The engine could also be out of time because the belt is on wrong

But why waste your time fixing someone elses **** up tell her to take that shit back
