I am thinking of cutting my hair short, like running a #1 or #2 over my head. But I notice if I dont put gel on my hair, my scalp gets dry and flakes a bit. I cant have that. Anyone use anti-dandruff shampoos? How well do they work? Are they temporary or are they a more permanent fix?

during the winter i do, my scalp gets uber dry. never tried dandruff shampoos though.

I had this problem till I switched to using Garnier Fructis hair products, gel and all.

Now I can wear the black without the blue.

I have had great success with garnier, and ladies love how it smells.

I was actually gonna suggest that. I only use their shampoo but it has kept me dandruff free during this very cold winter when I usually get dry scalp.
