Default Windows XP display option question

OK. For the life of me I can't remember how to change this setting. The desktop icons are usually transparent, however, on this computer it has a blue background to it. How do I change it so it will be transparent again?

Anyone? Thanks.

Control Panel / System / Advanced / Performance Tab / Settings Button and put a checkmark in: Use Drop Shadows for Icon Labels on the Desktop

Not to jack this thread or anything but I have another question that is related...
In my control panel under display, I have no "Background" tab. It just up and disapeared. :dunno: Its not a huge deal but its kind of annoying....does anyone know how I can get this tab back???
p.s. I have XP Pro

Did you want the change your wallpaper or something? I don't remember Win XP having a Background tab.

Yea, I used to have a background tab...I have it at work so I know its supposed to be there.
I wanted to change my background and I know I can right-click and put "Set as Wallpaper" but then I can't change the effect (tile, center, stretch)...
