I believe it is getting picked up on Mon..........already talked with the kid's dad who is paying for it and he says its a done deal.
Time for me to do some Miata shopping?
Business is business, you can't let other people guilt trip you into making an unwise financial decision. In your shoes most people wouldn't be as understanding, and rightly so. I would understand if he needed a car, but nobody NEEDS a supra, its a luxury item. I hate it when people make you feel bad for doing something that is in your own best interest.

You have to remember that you're selling the car. Its up to you on who you would want to sell it to. If you were to take out that these guy's are you friends which person would you sell it to? Once you answer that, I would say go with that answer. I would tell those other guy's, that are interested, about the offer you would like to take. Then say if you can't match it or do better, then sell it to whoever you feel is the best deal.
Only you can answer if you're willing to give up a large amount of cash for you friend. One last thought, if this person is really your friend then he would understand that you would want to get the best deal.
edit:
I was hella late on this post. I didn't finish reading the thread before I posted this. Oh well, you get my $.02 anyway's.
