Default Movie: Saw

Just watched it last night. I'm mixed. Overall I'd say it was a good movie. There were many 'yelling at the screen' points of things that I thought were obvious... but I guess if you are in that situation you might have a hard time focusing and seeing the obvious things.

I'd say ***/5.
I might borrow it again so I can rip it.

It wasn't nearly as gorey as I thought it would be, and the story intrigued me. I'd give it 3.5/5.

I liked it. Been awhile since I saw a movie that kept me guessing.

Yea, the description said it would have you squirming or something. There really was only one or .. maybe 2 points when it was mildly squirmish.

I don't know if they did it on purpose... but I can't stop thinking about the gaping holes that were in it. I guess they did a good job of setting up for a sequel... I have tons of questions I want answered.

horrible acting by the guy with the family.

everytime he answered the phone, he acted like a bitch ... sounded like a bitch ... and so on. it got to the point where that's all I focused on.

:chuckles:

the story was good, just that guy was a bad actor.

More importantly, he was the guy from the Princess Bride, which I couldn't stop thinking about the whole time I watched the movie.

Yes there were several plot holes, but overall I liked it. I'd agree with the 3.5/5 rating.
