My daughter took these shots (dad edited a hair).

Personally I think she has quite the eye but then I am partial that way.

There is a reason I stay on the trigger side of the camera.

so keeping in mind she is six years old and these were taken with an Olympus C-4000 what do you think?

I think they are great for a 6 year old. Did she keep it on AUTO mode or manual? :exnbp:

That first pic has an eerie interesting feeling to it.

It was on auto mode. I think it was more the content that caught me off guard since all the pictures she took (save for a few) were the same types of shots I would have taken h:

h: You know what, youre completely right. Your darkness is rubbing off on her. Give her the camera next time, and drive around. Ask her where she wants to stop and take pics. Thats great you get to do stuff like that with your kid. :happysad:

I did that...in fact she is the one who wanted to stop at the graveyard h:

We keep it light but when it came to going into that house it was all serious and she didn't wander off once.

I've taken old abandoed house pics in black and white before. As an entry shot for my portfolio. It did ok.

Then the other time I wanted to take a picture of this farmers run down place, but he was rolling around in his mower so I asked his permission. He thought I asked to take pics of him, so he sat there in my shot the entire time. I decided to work with it and that won me a silver award at a show. Good luck I guess.

Actually she did that all on her own without me saying a word about it.
