I thought the speakers on my uncle's pc were dead, so I got him a set of new fangled speakers. Only later did I discover that the problem was I had muted the audio. :doh:

Sometimes I do stupid stuff like that on purpose so that others think I have a real reason for spending money on yet more computer stuff. h:

 

I was an engineer, now I am a computer scientist... the worse of two evils. Remember that space probe that went kaput and cost millions of dollars, yep that was a computer scientist that misread the units.

At my last job i had a guy trying to listen to music on his computer but his speakers aint work...I asked him was the speakers plugged in...i went through all trouble shooting methods...i walk over to his desk...to find A) He was using like Windows Media player that came with Windows 95. and B) His speakers werent plugged in :slap:
