Default open a car part store

hey y'all

my cousin want to open a car part store specifically in import parts in like 10 years, we are from ontario, canada.. but right now he is a senior in high school. His question is to people who have business related to car parts store... how did y'all start your business such as location, range of money to start up a business and other issue...

if you need any information about my cousin regarding to opening a business or anything i left out... post it up

:werd: Really. That kid needs to get his ducks in a row and straighten up. Those performance shops are nothing but a breeding ground for trouble. :loco:

One of my bestest friends owns www.urbanimport.com (shameless plug)

He started out buying and selling parts on eBay, then stocked up a lot of parts at home until his parents kicked him out. By that time he had made enough money to buy a small warehouse. He's only 20 years old too. :eek3:

edit: I believe he's only one of the few people that distribute D2 parts in North America, aside from being one of the top Rota distributors.

I guess just start out small, and don't be discouraged.
