Yeah, that thing would be awesome as an Urban Assault vehicle.

Yeah I have seen those things and ridden in one. Pretty impressive creatures for sure.

Being that this particular one is designed for desert trips I doubt you would see it on the streets.

Yes.

You can buy the new ones from local dealerships now and they are a blast. Most of the older ones were imported or former army rigs. Before the last two years I don't think there was any actual dealerships in the US for public sales.

I'd rock one of those if I were rich and lived in a swamp. Looks like a beastly version of an H2.

Cool... I think the Unimog and the Land Rover Series I are two of the best built off road vehicles.

Actually it makes the Hummer look like a matchbox car if you compared them directly.

7 liter diesel (if I remember right)
Portal axles
Lockers with stock 7.13 gear ratio
60 degree entry and departure angles

Its virtually unstoppable and made by Mercedes. I had a bunch of shots a friend took of the testing facilities and the torture they put them through.

Plus Unimogs are custom fitted for use in every sort of application. Hummers are nothing more than mall crawlers now.

I was merely implying minor frame similarities...but thanks for finding yet another thing to argue about with me.
