So yeah, I just finished this g-damned midterm for a history class I'm taking. It's a good class, but I really don't know why I'm subjecting myself to this kind of abuse just for elective credits.

The assignment was two 1000-word-maximum (about 4 pages) papers. The questions were given to us in class on Monday, and we have to bring in our answers today, Wednesday. This motherf*cker wanted us to include so much crap in each paper that was in no way possible to do with only 1000 words. I crammed as much as I possibly could, and resisted my English major urges to use cool complex language wherever possible. Basically I spent a whole lot of time checking the word count and trimming a sentence here and there until I got the word count low enough. In one case I was a little under the limit, but for the second paper I have it at exactly 1000 words.

Freakin ridiculous I tell you. This asshole better give me a good grade for having made such a stupid assignment.

 

Good luck man... I never liked writing papers.

I guess what helped me deal with writing all that crap was knowing that the teacher had to sit there and read it all... and everyone elses.

 

Oh I already wrote it. I was venting my anguish at the process while my printer was spitting out the final product.

Been there. For my core classes, we have 2 page midterms and finals. This particular paper that I just finished, we had to cite 7 articles and 2 professors. IN 2 FUKING PAGES.
