i have a question.

say i don't technically "renew" my registration, but instead, just get the new plates. is that much different? i needed to change my address on my registration anyway, so i wouldn't have been able to renew online. i'm just wondering if i do order the plates (online) if there's anything else i'll have to do.

So what? He would know what it meant. People don't get customized plates for other people. Plus, he wouldn't get people bugging him asking "what's that mean."
