game looks pretty good, cant wait to test it out.

i have a feeling that the first generation of this game might not beat out the gran turismo series, but i have a feeling if it keeps going in the direction it seems we may have a real contender once the seond game comes around...

I just read an article in Popular Science about it. They compared the real cars on a track to the game's virtual car and track. They took a pro driver and street racer RJ Devera and let them both play the game, and then had them drive the real thing. The track was fairly close according to the pro, and the times were reasonably accurate, too. The pro beat the street racer pretty handily on both the real track and Xbox game. To be fair though, it was the pro's home track.

i already got to play it (demo in xbox magazine) and i thought i was better than GT4, simply because of the online play, other than that the gameplay is pretty identical.

:werd:, i played it at walmart about 20 times. Feels very nice, graphics aren't quite that of GT4, but it's a very good game judging from the demo.

question: how do you mimic g-force? i mean i can understand how you can mimic the physics of the game but driving a car and playing a game are completely different things and feels....

you'd probably need a hydraulic chair that is supsended that will tip over and mimic G forces as the angle of the chair sways steeply to have the natural gravity pull on you?. :dunno:
