along with that list..:
Old toyota corrolas. (85-88)ish
toyota celicas (I think so )
miatas. eh.
I wouldn't limit yourself to japan though. I was thinking about project car, and a few on my list were: datsun & nissan Z cars, porsche 944 968 924, supra celica rx7, and mr2. Well. ok I guess that's mostly japan.

the alltrac was the last celica that actually had the rear wheels spin but they also had awd instead of just rwd i dunno about all the older models
