What's 1 tool you can't live without, or your significantly use when working on your car(s)?

1 that has made my life easier, and I wished I'd of bought it 10 yrs ago:

magnetic retreval tool

 

plasma cutter!!

 

ratchet wrenches

 

Next on my list after using a friends. Never knew how useful they would be, or how strong they are.

 

craftsman sockets! i break at least one socket per suspension job i do.

 

can't think of just one, but
Torque Wrench
A good jack
jackstands
ratchets with good assortment of sockets
quality screw drivers
a drill
a rotary tool
impact driver
wd-40

 

Duct tape
Wire connectors and splicer
A good coffee pot

 

dont forget breaker bar

 

A good multi-meter (or if you have lots of money a Fluke meter)
12v Test-light
Vise-grips
Adapter sockets
U-joint sockets
Oxy-Acetelene torches (gr8 for seized bolts)
