I bet one of those new Pontiac GTO 6.0 Litre cars would own it. Anybody know how fast these new GTO's are? I saw one the other day passing me on the interstate. It did'nt really look that speacial, until i saw the 6.0. That's huge for a stock production car.

that's the same engine in the C6 vette

400/395 i guess the GTO loses 5ft/lbs of torque.

I've seen it a couple of times in the last few weeks but I always seem to see the same 4 episodes. We were watching it at my girlfriends the other day and it was the episode where they have to make Moonshine that replaces gas to run cars. They have some woman federal agent in the back of the general Lee. They get pulled over and everybody starts climbing out the window and as she get out, you can see the whole roll cage in the car shift forward as they push on it. I know it's not reality but that was kind of funny.

Well, you know what i mean. Affordable stock production car. Dodge Viper would be out of the average or even above average persons reach, unless that's all they owned.

As far as I know the GTO has the lowest price per hp ($85.29) of any production car sold in this country, but I think the Mitsubishi Evo and Subaru STi could probably out-drag it

*edit*

Nope, the Mustang GT beats the GTO ever so slightly at $84.03 per hp.
