yup...thats why i said the first one was the only shot i liked..... the other two were runner ups...i forgot to set the ISO lower on those h:

really nice pics..what kinda cam? and what is ISO mode for? I have a canon sd300, really nice camera, really small and has a shitload of shooting modes, but for the life of me don't know what each of them does.

any good sites for digital photography faqs?

this is what i have now: Canon SD300 4MP camera

I love it, but we just got the Canon SD500 7.1MP camera at work which I'll be upgrading too within the next month after my camera, 'breaks' .

I think he has a Canon G3 or G5.

ISO is not a mode. The ISO setting allows you to set how sensative your sensor is to light. The higher the ISO, the more sansative it is. However on most point and shoots, once you get into really high ISOs, you start to capture a lot of noise, which you can see in his 2nd pic looking at the darker rolling hills.
