I know I've mentioned them here and there in the basement, but I thought it was worthy of its own thread. I don't know how many of you are familiar with the cardigans, but its a swedish chick band (well, actually just the singer) with a few notable tracks to their name (the theme from GT2, that song from romeo&juliet).

But I've got their album "long gone before daylight," and some of these tracks are really awesome. I highly reccomend that you all download a song called "feathers and down" and if you like that, try "communication" and "long gone before daylight." Quality shit.

i actually saw them in concert several months ago. their new album is definitely mellower than their previous albums. it's nothing like the gt2 song. good chill music.

yeah, these newer songs are nothing like that though.

Several are just amazing, some are *so* close to being great but are just too cheesy... I chock it up to english not being their native tongue. h:
