125 - 135 is the usual for the limiters in most cars.

If you have ever driven a car at 130+ mph you would understand that doing it on the track is fairly safe, on the freeway its scary, in a 45 zone you would definitley be a dead mother ****er.

end of story.

I really hate people who are full of shit and try and impress a forum with their brand of lies.

i know some roads that are in my town that are labeled 45 for no reason other than the fact that they are country roads, granted that in some places there are corners i wouldnt want to fly out of it is very striahg tin some places and i've seen people drive them insanely fast with top speed cars (like vettes/cobras...) gotta be doing 120 at least

You gonna argue everything someone says today?

To get to 120 in a vette or a viper takes about a minute or less, to get to 120 in a prelude we are talking at least 5 minutes to get there and to hit 145 or whatever he said he was doing is that much more time.

Once you hit a certain range of RPMs and speed it takes a lot longer to gain speed. So the climb from 0-60 may take 6 seconds (for sake of argument) yet the climb from 60-120 may take the same car a minute or longer.

Its the basic physics of mechanical ability of the vehicle itself.

i do take it as a correct statement, but it is irrelevant considering what i said. there are alot of high, topspeed cars in my area because of the spoiled doctors and such in our area.... lambos, ferrari's, vettes, vipers and other cars capable of doing such speeds on the roads i am reffering to.

if you are arguing what i said was wrong, it is not sir.

You made it seem as if it were possible for his shitty little Prelude to do 160 in the 45 zone.

Guess I misread your intentions in the comment.
