It goes along with the general viewing public idea...if the general viewing public gives me an overall good response then it would appear as though I have achieved a good result.
When artists in general look at another persons work they are drawing on their knowledge base of what technically makes a good work. The general viewer only knows what pleases their eye and skips all the technical aspects of a piece.

Ummm....didn't I state that I also post in actual photography forums as well? That is where I get my technical critiques from on the same images I post here. I post them on multiple forums in order to round out the feedback.
