Very nice. I wish I had cool birds around here to photograph (I'd probably need a telephoto lense and camera to go with it as well, of course). All I have here are the two pigeons that crap on my balcony everyday. I plan to shoot them...literally.

 

This was at the Portland zoo actually.

 

Cool pic. Come summertime I plan on heading down to my docks and take these pics of these huge birds with long legs that hang out around the lake. I just need to catch them without flying away.

 

A better background would make that picture much better IMO

 

Ah, I see. I guess I need to take a trip to the zoo, or someplace other than here. After I shoot the pigeons, of course.

 

i actually like how the backround was out of focus like that, seeing how you didnt have much of an option to deal with in that type of shot, unless you the picture of teh bird at a further distance to get the backround focused, but it looks good the way is it. 8/10.
