recently i've been on a 70's music binge.

got my pink floyd, steve miller band, kansas, simon and garfunkle, scott mckenzie, and others playing non-stop.

i wish i lived in the late 60s - early 70s

Meh...that stuff is ok but there is better available in the same vein.

Tom Waits
Nick Drake
The Manson Family recordings (yeah they did and they weren't too bad)
Lennons solo recordings
Nico
Jimi Hendrix (only his blues sessions are worth a shit)
Bob Dylan

There is a lot more that was far more interesting and talented than *gasp* Kansas, and the Steve Miller band
