Default ATT: computer ppl, need help with video card.

heres the situation:

i bought a xfx 6600gt agp 128mb video card for my computer.
my specs are:

its a sony viao

i install the card, install a game, "motogp2" and "the sims2" both games have stretched polygons and some polygons missing. i thought it was defective, return and exchange.

its doin the same thing again, and i dunno y. is there some secret settings i dunno about? could this card be defective as well. its brand new. i dunno what to do, i was wonderin if you guys would have a clue to help me out.

does it do it on all different settings? try turning FFAA on or off in the Video card settings.

Control Panel / Display / Settings / Advanced

the problem described does kind of sound like a driver issue but not in a way.

Are you running an LCD monitor? Some LCDs get screwy if you don't run at their native resolutions, especially older monitors.

I don't think the card is defective XFX and nVidia are both good companies.
