if you have a problem with an extension after upgrading, go into

Tools > Options > Advanced > Software Update > Check Now

That is said to take care of most of them.

Got it, I've been noticing a few popups here and there, even with FF :eek4:.

Java and Flash apps can cause popups too.

Flash Click to Play can prevent this for Flash, I usually leave Java turned off totally... I rarely use it.

yea the update extensions button didnt work, cuz they were already updated.

A simple uninstall, then reinstall worked for all of them.

mozilla update kept bishing about not being compatibe for 1.0+, but installing the 1.0 versions worked

and where did the quick reply box go?

advertisers are finding ways to circumvent current popup-blockers. it was only a matter of time... google, yahoo, mozilla/firefox, and others will create new popup blockers, and then advertisers will find ways to circumvent those... who knows how long it'll go on?

floating ads are pretty annoying, too. they're ads that don't popup in a separate window, but on a layer above the rest of the webpage. they're not quite as annoying as regular pop-ups. there's usually a button to close it, but i don't think there's a good way to block those entirely.

I used Firefox before, but found out it was some tainted version. Now I'm using this and it's great. I love these extensions.
