not jaggy lines....more like blurred poor color seperation and stuff. i opted not to buy any s-video cables...and i cannot run the red/green/blue component. im not about to spend 50 bucks on cables that will give me 5% noticable difference i did however find this online:




...says it only works with japan standards tho. RGB-2+ :dunno:

That looks like RGB cables, which are largely useless here in the US (Though, FYI, Japan also uses the NTSC standard... the only reason why we cant share movies/games are region restrictions).

Buy the S-vid cables. It's VERY much worth it over composite.

Or get this and add on the component cables they sell:

Your best bet for the highest quality, but may take up to 2 weeks with standard shipping (You can expedite, though)

 

if he doesnt have jagged horisontal lines he prolly has a deinterlacing chip in the monitor somewhere.... or it's built to be able to displace interlaced stuff well... i'd say just go with S-video in that case, the color separation should suffice and the price is right...

 

THATS EXACTLY what im looking for. Too bad its coming from Lik Sang h: ... my friend had bad experiences with that place.

S-video is better than what i have now..but I want the best I can get with the setup. The VGA progressive scan box is exactly what im looking for for the best quality. I want to see if i can get that part here locally
