Seems the people at PD in their infinite wisdom have decided to force you to keep your memory card inserted at all times. Not a problem you say? Well, i'm not done yet. Everytime you buy a new car it will hound you to insert the MC, but you can just cancel this nag screen. The big problem comes when you go to your garage to hop into your shiny new ride. You cannot switch cars unless the MC is inserted. The game automatically saves evertime you switch cars. There is an option to turn autosave off, but this does not affect the car switch autosave.

In GT3 I would waste hours buying cars, tuning them up, then seeing if they fit my likes on the track. If I hated the car, I would just reload my previous save. It can still be done in GT4, it just requires you to keep a backup save on a different MC. While this whole thing is not that big of a deal, I just wanted to spread the word.

thats not cool. I use to do the same thing in GT3

Thank goodness I have two MCs at my disposal. I used the second one in GT3 so I could get the prize car variations faster than doing each series over and over. Now it will be a dedicated backup.

they want yout o spend years playing the game til you get every car imaginable in your garage... that way when it's 3005 when the announce the real releas date of GT5 for the 3 billionth time you will still be playing GT4
